I think you need to look a lil closer at the Cobra-R.... 1st off, there were only 250 made They are lightened Mustangs, coming with no radio, AC, back seat removed, no sound deadoning material, or heat shielding. You will see how impt these things are on even the shortest of road trips in even somewhat heavy traffic. They get less than 12 MPG. Edmunds.com says "Now your first response might be, "How can a Mustang compete for a sports car title? Don't they have rear seats?" Not this one. Its rear seat, along with its audio system, air-conditioning components and every last ounce of sound-deadening material has been yanked in pursuit of performance." So, from all that, yes, it's a nicely performing track car. I wouldn't call it a comfy daily driver and we all know how Mustang plastic peices are put together. I've installed many stereos and watched clips, panels and whatnot break, rattle and just poorly put together. I guess you just have to give up things for other things, but it ONLY does a 12.9 1/4(for all the sacrafices, I'd think low 12's), yet a nice 1.0 G's on the skidpad. Now *IF* you could get your hands on one of the 250 sold and then come up with the $50K+++ for it, I'll just say I hope you enjoy it!
